Janet Cardiff's sound installation, "The Forty Part Motet" is nothing short of brilliant. Experiencing it yesterday at the Cloisters has left me in a (good) daze ever since. I journeyed alone so I could traverse the space with no distractions and the walk through Fort Tryon Park on a misty gray day was the perfect climate. Took this image with my phone but it doesn't do the work justice.
